What kid does not love Dinosaurs? This kit makes a fantastic birthday gift or Christmas stocking stuffer and, with its compact size and handy storage box, it is an ideal travel resource for all dinosaur-loving children!
Packaged in a heavy-duty cardboard box the fun begins before it is even opened! Inside the sturdy box, an abundance of dinosaur puzzles, stamps, games and colouring cards is unveiled.
Puzzles
The Dinosaur Activity Kit contains two 4-piece dinosaur themed wooden puzzles. This is a square four-piece puzzle of a dinosaur and its name.
These puzzles assist in developing visual-spatial reasoning and problem solving skills. Manipulation of the pieces is fantastic for strengthening fine motor skills and cognitive processing speed. But, if used together, these puzzles could create a dinosaur timeline – hatching, roaming, extinction – or be used as small world backdrops to imaginary play. Pair the landscape puzzle with one of the dinosaur stamps for a simple invitation to play.

Dinosaur Fossil Stamps
The Dinosaur Activity Kit contains two Dinosaur Fossil Stamps. The top side of the stamp is engraved with a dinosaur outline while the underside features a single layered laser engraved skeleton which is thick enough to create a great impression in playdough, sand or similar material. Fantastic to engage independent play and exploration. What sensory base leaves the clearest impression? If you apply different pressure, how does the impression alter?
The stamps are approximately 11.5 x 5.5cm or 8.5 x 5.5cm depending on dinosaur shape and are randomly selected from a range of 20 designs.
Dinosaur Matching Shapes
The Dinosaur Activity Kit contains two Dinosaur Matching Shape pairs. The bottom tile features an engraved dinosaur skeleton while the top tile is the matching hollow outline which, when lined up on top, allows the skeleton to be seen within the body outline. This activity is great for cognitive development, promoting both observational and problem solving skills. They can also be used individually. Pop the engraved skeleton under some paper and create dinosaur rubbings or use the outline to draw dinosaur shapes to extend creativity and strengthen fine motor skills.
The base is approximately 13.5 x 7.5cm and the top outline 11.5 x 5.5 or 8.5 x 5.5cm depending on the dinosaur shape. Two dinosaur varieties will be randomly selected.
Dinosaur Footprints
The Dinosaur Activity Kit contains two wooden Dinosaur Footprint Stamps and two Footprint Cut-Outs (randomly selected from a range of designs).
This set offers a pair of footprint stamps which leave engaging impressions in playdough or sand or paint (note paint or ink will stain the timber but not affect the use). Create dinosaur tracks across the sandpit leading to a dinosaur lair! The cut-out outline can be used as a craft stencil, developing fine motor skills to manipulate a pencil inside the space to draw the footprint.
Each stamp is approximately 7cm x 7cm and each cut out is approximately 8cm x 8cm.
Dinosaur Magnets
The Dinosaur Activity Kit contains four wooden magnets. These colourfully printed discs with realistic images are a versatile learning tool to assist children with discovering and identifying these creatures.

Playdough
Fun Dough is made in Australia, safe, non-toxic and washable, making it ideal for young children and early model making. Pastel colours make it appealing for children to create fun artwork using their hands and dough tools. Playing with dough is a sensory experience and also helps children develop hand to eye coordination and fine motor skills, making this a great activity for the classroom and home.
